Hie, this is Namreeta Lalwani

Hi, my name is Namreeta Lalwani. I was born in India, a land of cultural heritage. I came to Dubai when i was about two months old and since then i have been living here. I did my schooling from a CBSE ( Central Board of Secondary Education ) and now i am at AUD studying Media .
The funniest thing about my school was that girls and boys were not allowed to study together or even being seen together and if any student did violate the school's rules and regulations then they would be suspended from the school for a week or in extreme cases even for an entire year.
To avoid interaction between girls and boys the school had different timings like for girls the timings were from morning eight till afternoon one and for boys it was from afternoon two till evening six. Now that i study in a mixed university where everyone is treated equally and there is no difference between girls and boys , i find my school a little weird in this matter. For now i am enjoying my university experience. AUD is a great place to be in as it has taught me a lot to be responsible for my doings and most importantly it has helped me grow overall as a person.

  1. Wow, that seems a little extreme that you would get punished for working together, was this only done while in school or did it apply to everyday living as well?

What sprung your interest in Media?
