Hey you =)

Hi I’m Juhi Menghani. I’ve been living in Dubai for the past 18 years, this is where I was born and I haven’t lived in another country before. Dubai is home to me, I visit my family in India for a few weeks every year but I tend to feel out of place there. I am currently a freshman at AUD and I am majoring in creative advertising and photography, this year of university has been rather difficult. I miss high school and I think we all do. 'Those were the best days of my life'. I don’t find it easy to adapt to different situations which is rather odd because. I come from a family with 14 people and adjustment is the only way one can manage to live there. It’s fun none the less and it’s a great experience. Since this is where you find out everything abut me I’d tell you a few of my interests. I play the drums, listen to rock and alternative. Coldplay, Lifehouse, Porcupine tree and John Mayer are HEAVEN. I read self help books, which I think is rather pathetic but I guess I just need it. I paint, I cook, and I LOVE FOOD and what is quite awesome is that Dubai has the best of every cuisine. I can’t put on a show like so many other people I know, If I like someone I’ll talk to them otherwise I’m usually quiet. If I am happy it shows; if I’m really upset it shows do. I’m not very good at concealing the way I feel. I am not too optimistic, but I’m neither pessimistic, just floating somewhere in the middle. The one thing I think the big family gave me was the ability to learn to forgive and forget and I think it is pretty awesome and everyone should possess that quality. Anyway I guess this is it. I am looking forward to the blog. This should be rather interesting =)
